The National Institute of Building Sciences is finalizing the keynote presentations and education sessions for the Building Innovation 2020 Conference & Expo in April.

Building Innovation is a premiere event for the built environment. It brings together innovators, government leaders, public and private sector representatives, and officials from building and construction.

Building Innovation 2020 Resilience Sessions to Cover Zero Energy, Housing Affordability

Natural disasters like wildfires and floods are only increasing in frequency and volume, costing the U.S. an average of $100 billion annually. This is part of the reason building resilience will be prominently featured during Building Innovation 2020: Virtual Edition.

The annual meeting of the National Institute of Building Sciences takes place August 18-19.

The National Institute of Building Sciences is gearing up for its first-ever Building Innovation 2020: Virtual Edition.

Building Innovation: Who’s the 2024 Exceptional Woman in Building?

For decades, the National Institute of Building Sciences has recognized outstanding members of the built environment.

During the pandemic, NIBS opened several new awards categories to winners. These include the Exceptional Woman in Building Award, NIBS Distinguished Service, NIBS Innovator, Future Leaders, and DEI Leadership.

Last year, our 2023 Exceptional Woman in Building was innovation catalyst Salla Eckhardt.
